I believe this is mid to early 1800s or older. Early primitive square naive cast iron mold with no fine details. A nice early example! SO MANY CAST IRON FOOTED HOTPLATES TRIVETS FLAT SAD IRON STANDS ARE REPRODUCTION OF ANTIQUES, 9/10 times or more these are much newer and reproduced. I stumbled upon a collection of genuine original oldies not repro! AMERICANA Great finds and genuine original antique items IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE LOOK OF THESE ITEMS BUT A LOW PRICE TRY THE LOWER QUALITY MUCH NEWER REPRODUCTIONS, they go between 10-20 bucks generally and look similar The ones im selling are for serious collectors only.
