It's heavy, it seems to add, the numbers change and pulling the handle adds and then clears everything back to zeros. It's stiff a bit when adding and pulling the handle. The numbers are worn, the lever looks a bit bent, not sure, and there is a screw on the right side that I think had a handle, not sure, some of the read out numbers are a bit scuffed, a dent is on the front left, it's over all fair to good shape, as is. It's very heavy, but priced right so get a good deal on this really cool early 1900's piece of nostalgia.
