The general rule of thumb is that the cubic inch volume is equal to the weight of the decedent. The volume of this urn is about 195 cubic inches. So this urn would be good for two dogs that were a combined weight of 200 pounds or less. These urns are bottom load urns. There is a panel on the bottom that is removed with 6 screws. This is the best design to make sure your loved ones remains are always safe and secure.
