In between there are numerous blank pages. - At the beginning, the manuscript contains a list of the soap boiler masters of the time, sorted by town (Weimar, Altenburg, Saalfeld, Jena, Rotha (Roda?), Kahla, Bürgel, Eisenberg, Rastenberg (no master registered), Ronneburg, Schmölln, Lucka, Orlamünde, Dornburg, Camburg, Sulza). The cities of Weimar, Altenburg, Jena and Saalfeld have the most master soap makers, whereas for some other towns only 1 or a few masters are recorded.
