The Haiti 10 Gourdes banknote from 2000 is part of the 2000 - 2015 series. Its front design depicts the Haitian flag being sewn by the national hero and seamstress Catherine Flon on May 18, 1803, the last day of the Congress of Arcahaie, and the BRH as a registration device. The reverse side features the Coat of Arms of Haiti with cannon, flags, anchor, bugle, drum, and palm tree. The note measures 163 x 70 mm and is equipped with a windowed security thread with demetalized BRH 10 and a watermark palm tree.
