Japy Script Typewriter Excellent, Cleaned Condition, + New Ribbon Years 50

Magnificent portable typewriter from the French brand JAPY, Script model (circa 1950/60). Its compact design and hammered gray finish make it a superb decorative object, but also a functional striking tool. • Mechanical: The machine has been completely cleaned. The keys are fluid, the cart moves perfectly and the end of line bell is operational. • Ribbon: Currently only works in BLACK mode (color picker is set or restricted to black). • The body of the machine is very clean, with no major scratches or visible signs of oxidation (see photos). • Sold with its original carrying case (green interior, tweed/canvas exterior) which has a normal patina for its age, perfectly protecting the machine. Careful and ultra-protected shipping (bubble wrap, double thickness cushioning) to avoid any damage.
