A late 19th century violin bearing its original label “Benedetto Duzini / fece in Milano, Anno 1885.” Either an obscure maker or a trade name, but I can find no record of either. Repaired lower treble bout and treble wing crack, chipped corner on upper treble bout; lower rib patch in vicinity of endpin. Loose neck. Back length 353 mm Lower bout 200 mm Shoulder to bridge 195 mm String length 325 mm
