Strongid Horse Dewormer Paste Contains the active ingredient Pyrantel Pamoate. Can be used on horses, ponies, mares and foals. This is a great horse wormer as it has shown to be effective against benzimidazole-resistant strongyles. The easy, disposable syringe is a convenient part of your deworming rotation. Strongid Paste is used to aid in the control of: large strongyles (bloodworms) small strongyles pinworms ascarids (roundworms) Each oral syringe treats up to 1,200 lb body weight. Horses and ponies (over 8 months) should be treated every 6 weeks. Mares should be treated 1 month before foaling. Foal dose (2-8 months of age) every 4 weeks.
